Day 11- Just 34 To Go!

Well, today marks the 1/4 point in The Left Hand Stained Glass Studio Challenge- we've gotten 6 backers (and we're delighted for each of them) and a number of views on our website. On Facebook I've taken to promoting the rewards available at each giving level and also posting my link on public stained glass sites. I'm also writing emails, inviting others to share our link. If you're one of those, I thank you in advance for your support! Now I've got to figure out what we're going to do at the half way mark!

Day 9

It's day 9 of my fundraiser- that means there's 36 days left! I'm just delighted at the progress we've made so far, and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

There is a process of development in any campaign- it happens before the actual run- and it's during that time that one looks at the available resources. One looks as well at their own resources- whether they're ready for the project. It's taken me time to realize that for me this project is big . It will always be big. But rather than fear it I need to embrace it. There is a tremendous potential in what I can bring to this. That's why I can honestly say I'm looking forward to it.

A New Year, A New Opportunity

Well, we 're that much closer to goal- we have 37 days left. It's a new year , and ( I hope), a new opportunity.

This important goal started within me- I realized that not only was I missing this particular studio experience, the world was missing it, too.

That's when I became bold enough to say "I want this, now how do I go about it?" I haven't set the bar too high ; rather, it's calling me to stretch to reach it.

Taking Time To Celebrate

When you're in a project such as mine, you're basically inviting others to come alongside you on your journey. And you are reminded how great it is that they've chosen to partner with you. And you find yourself in a pretty constant state of celebration. There's a song I hear lately that has the line,  "don't you work as hard as you play?" These days, it's pretty much all celebration; it's celebrating others, because they're wonderful, just because they're standing with you- they're wonderful, and that's worth celebrating.

I have another backer; this one wants to create some graphics for me! That's just awesome! I'm telling you, we're gaining traction!

Getting Started!

Well, it happened; I'm on the boards! I've gotten my first backer (the first of many, I hope). I'm using the crowdfunding site peerbackers.com to raise the necessary capital to open my stained glass studio. Perhaps everyone has a dream, and even maybe many don't see their dreams realized, but I didn't want to let it go without trying. Believe me, this is taking my best effort.

My first backer requested a glow in the dark wristband! How pleased I am to get that to her!
